The owner was very helpful, welcoming
and keen to make sure we had all we needed. He kindly
upgraded us to the larger house as it was available. It
was a nice size for us (a couple with a 3 year old boy)
with all we could need and with a few treats to start
our holiday on a nice note. The house is in a lovely,
quiet area a short walk from a couple of shops and
restaurants. The shaded terrace is a great spot to spend
an evening sitting out eating and drinking. There are
lots of beaches nearby and plenty to see and do in
nearby Sintra.

Très bon séjour dans cette petite
maison avec tout le confort (manque juste un lave linge).
propreté des lieux. Ttrès bien accueillis par le
propriétaire qui parle très bien français qui nous a
donner de bonnes adresses de plages et de restaurants.
Très belle région .
Very nice stay in this little house with all the
comforts (lack just a washing machine). the cleanliness
of the premises. Very well greeted by the owner who
speaks excellent french which give US good indications
on beaches and restaurants. Very nice area.

Nous avons séjourné une semaine dans la maison à
Azenhas Do Mar et nous en avons été enchanté.
Première bonne surprise à notre arrivée, nous avons été
"surclassé". En effet, il y a 2 maisons mitoyennes (une
plus grande et une plus petite); Vu que la grande maison
n'était pas occupé, le proprietaire nous l'a directement
proposé!
La maison est une renovation entièrement neuve, nous en
étions les 1ers locataires.
Très bien située (en haut du village), très calme, avec
vue sur la mer et couché de soleil, bien équipée, idéale
pour un couple ou deux. Les voisins portuguais étaient
d'ailleurs très sympa et n'ont pas hésité à nous
dépanner.
Azenhas est un village magnifique avec très peu de
touristes (ce que nous avons apprécié), contrairement au
village voisin très fréquenté de Praia Das Maças.
Nous étions à 10 mn à pied de la plage (Praia Da Aguda)
presque privée : 20 personnes tout au plus !!! Le
paradis! (contrairement donc à Praias Das Macas qui est
une plage très touristique, comme sur la côte d'Azur).
À noter qu'il s'agit de l'Océan, donc l'eau est
relativement froide, même si ce n'était pas un souci
pour se baigner. Pas mal de vagues, c'est d'ailleurs un
bon spot pour le bodysurf.
Le village est authentique, très charmant, avec 2
petites supérettes (pas très chères), un restaurant (20€
à 2 avec boissons et vin), une boucherie et 2 ou 3 bars!
la bière est à 1€ !
Nous n'avions pas de moyen de locomotion mais ce n'était
pas un problème.
Calme, repos et dépaysement garantis!
Le proprietaire est un hôte très sympathique, très
disponible et parlant français! Bref, rien à redire,
tout était parfait!
Nous recommandons donc ce village et cette maison.
We stayed a week in the house in Azenhas Do Mar and we
have been enchanted.
First good surprise upon our arrival, we have been
"outclassed". Indeed, there are 2 homes terraced (one
larger and one smaller); Saw that the house was not
occupied, the owner offer the upgrade!
The house is completely new renewed, we were the first
tenants.
Very well located (top in the village), very quiet,
overlooking the sea and sunset, well equipped, ideal for
a couple or two. The Portuguese neighbors were also very
nice and did not hesitate to help out us.
Azenhas is a beautiful village with very few tourists
(what we enjoyed), unlike the busy nearby village of
Praia Das Maçãs.
We were 10 minutes walk from the almost private beach
(Praia Da Aguda): 20 persons at most! The paradise!
(unlike so Praia Das Maçãs, which is a popular tourist
beach, as on the Côte d'Azur).
Note that it is the Ocean, so the water is relatively
cold, even if it wasn't a concern for bathing. Not bad
waves, it is also a good spot for the bodysurfing.
The village is authentic, very charming, with 2 small
supermarkets (very cheap), a restaurant (€20 for 2 with
drinks and wine), a butcher shop and 2 or 3 bars! the
beer is €1!
We had no means of locomotion, but it wasn't a problem.Calm, rest and change of scenery guaranteed!
The owner is a very friendly, highly available host and
speaking French! In short, nothing wrong, everything was
perfect!
We therefore recommend that this village and this house.

Le proprietaire nous a accueilli chaleureusement,
avec beaucoup d'emphase. Il aime sa région et vous le
communique avec raison. Toujours disponible c'est un
réel plaisir. Le logement correspond à la description,
il est bien équipé.
The owner welcomed us warmly, with great
emphasis. He loves his region and he communicate with
reason. Always available, is a real pleasure. Housing
corresponds to the description, it is well equipped.

We had a perfect stay in Azenhas do Mar,
in this house! Communication with the owner was easy by
mail and sms, and at arrival at the apartment he really
made us feel welcome. He told us about the surroundings,
gave some travelling tips and practical information. And
he left us a nice bottle of wine and some snacks for the
first night. The house is well maintained, and it is
just as displayed on the pictures. Because of the thick
walls and window shutters it is nice and cool in
Portugese summer. We had breakfast in the sun each
morning at the terrace, and you can even do some
sunbathing on the deck chairs too. Azenhas do Mar and
the surrounding villages are just lovely and stole my
heart: almost no tourists, some quiet little beaches
nearby, beautiful views along the coast over the
Atlantic ocean. A perfect place to unwind! Thanks so
much and hopefully see you again next time!

El pueblo es muy bonito y sus playas
espectaculares. La estancia en la casa ha sido muy
cómoda y tranquila, y el proprietario ha sido un
anfitrión estupendo. Nos atendió magníficamente y
siempre nos aconsejó sobre qué lugares visitar y a dónde
ir a comer. Muy recomendable. Un lugar para repetir.
The town is very nice and its beaches
spectacular. The stay has been very comfortable and
quiet, and the owner has been a great host. He took
great care of us and always advised us on what places to
visit and where to go to eat. Highly recommended. A
place to repeat.

Nous sommes restés une semaine dans
cette maison qui nous a permis de visiter Lisbonne (en
prenant le train à la gare de portela de Sintra) et la
région alentour: Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Ericera,
Mafra. Proche de belles plages sans grande affluence. Le
proprietaire vous accueille chaleureusement et parle
parfaitement le français et donne des conseils sur la
région. Nous recommandons cette location dans une maison
confortable et bien équipée dans un village calme.
We stayed a week in this House which
allowed us to visit Lisbon (taking the train to the
station of Portela of Sintra) and the surrounding area:
Sintra, Cascais, Estoril, Erica, Mafra. Close to
beautiful beaches without high traffic. The owner warmly
welcomes you and speaks French perfectly and gives
advice on the region. We recommend this rental in a
comfortable and well-equipped house in a quiet village..
