| We spent a wonderful time at this charming little
house in Azenhas do Mar. The house inside/outside, the
surroundings: everything corresponds exactly to the
photos and the description. The kitchen is well equiped
with everything you need. The large terrace with sea
view, the covered area outside; we had a great time. You
can reach the pool and the beaches by foot or by bus,
Its easy and comfortable to go by bus and train to
Sintra, Lisboa or to the next villages. The supermarket
at Av. Luis Augusto Colares is the best, nearby a small
coffee shop and the best restaurant: Adega da Azenhas!
Azenhas do Mar is a small traditional Portuguese
village, almost untouched by tourism. Its a perfect
location for relaxed holydays at the beach and for
excursions to Sinta, Mafra or Lisboa within a short
time. There is no need to rent a car, you get along with
the public transport. The owner is a helpful and very
friendly host who really takes care of his guests during
the whole stay at his house. He picked us up from the
bus-stop when we arrived, gave us a lot of useful
information and was all time attainable by mobile. Next
time I would like to continue our interesting
conversations about Portugal. We hope to come back next

Un séjour de deux semaines reposant dans ce village
typique. Le proprietaire est très accueillant. Le gîte est à deux
pas de l'océan et le logement est confortable. Nous y
étions avec un bébé de 14 mois et le proprietaire a mis tout le
matériel à disposition. Nous gardons un souvenir
magnifique.

| This owner was a great host! We had some trouble
finding the house, so he and his wife met us at the
nearest restaurant and showed us the way. Even though he
was in Lisbon (40 minutes away) at the time we rented,
he was always available and checked up on us asking if
we needed anything. He gave us tips about which
restaurant to use, which turned out to be the best and
cheapest in town, and he even made his family members
available for emergencies. Overall I can highly
recommend him as a host. A two weeks stay resting
