| We spent a wonderful time at this charming litte
house in Azenhas do Mar. The house inside/outside, the
surroundings: everything corresponds exactly to the
photos and the description. The kitchen is well equiped
with everything you need. The large terrace with sea
view, the covered area outside; we had a great time. You
can reach the pool and the beaches by foot or by bus,
Its easy and comfortable to go by bus and train to
Sintra, Lisboa or to the next villages. The supermarket
at Av. Luis Augusto Colares is the best, nearby a small
Coffeeshop and the best restaurant: Adega da Azenhas!
Azenhas do Mar is a small traditional portuguese
village, almost untouched by tourism. Its a perfect
location for relaxed holydays at the beach and for
excursions to Sinta, Mafra or Lisboa within a short
time.There is no need to rent a car, you get along with
the public transport. The owner is a helpfull and very
friendly host who really takes care of his guests during
the whole stay at his house. He picked us up from the
bus-stop when we arrived, gave us a lot of usefull
informations and was all time attainable by mobile. Next
time I would like to continue our interesting
conversations about Portugal. We hope to come back next
