Nous avons
passé un très agréable séjour dans ce cottage, le
propriétaire est très sympathique et aux petits soins
avec nous et les deux juments nous ont manifesté toute
leur amitié. Nous avons apprécié la proximité de ce parc
naturel et de ses lieux historiques. Très calme, piscine
agréable et marché du samedi et du dimanche très
pratique pour s'approvisionner en bons produits et pas
chers. Sintra est une belle ville. Sa gare permet
facilement d'aller à Lisbonne. Bref. un petit paradis
pour un bon repos.
We spent a very pleasant stay in this cottage, the owner
is very friendly and caring with us and the two mares
have demonstrated us their friendship. We enjoyed the
proximity of this natural park and its historic sites.
Very quiet, nice pool and Saturday and Sunday market
very convenient for supply of good and cheap products.
Sintra is a beautiful city. Its railway station makes it
easy to go to Lisbon. Brief, a small paradise for a good
rest.

property was ideal for our family holiday with swimming
pool, bicycles, horses to feed and information about
places to visit and beaches. We were met by the owner who was very welcoming and helpful and we enjoyed
a brief horse ride at the end of our stay, led by him.
Sintra and its environs is a very interesting place to
stay with lots to see and do in the historic town, plus

Un
environnement exceptionnel, un propriétaire extrêmement accueuillant et
disponible. Un lieu idéal avec des enfants durant la belle saison. Le
jardin est très calme et magnifique. On se sent loin de tout perdu dans
la forêt alors que la maison se situe très près de la mer et du village
de Sintra. La maison est simple mais accueillante. Il y a en plus des
jeux pour les enfants et des vélos et trotinettes à disposition. On
remercie encore Luis pour sa gentillesse.
An exceptional environment and an owner extremely welcomer and
available. An ideal place also for children at the beautiful season.
The garden is very calm and splendid. We feels far away, lost in the
forest but after all the house is very close to the sea and Sintra
village. The house is simple but welcoming. There is in addition toys
for the children and bicycles and skates at disposal. We are, once
more, thankful to Luis for his kindness.

perché sur les hauteurs de Colares. Calme au milieu
d''une grande forêt d''eucalytus, idéal pour se reposer.
Piscine et chevaux pour les enfants, Sintra et sa
culture à proximité, bref: un séjour idéal. Le
propriétaire est d''une gentillesse, d''une hospitalité
et d''une disponibilité confondantes. Encore merci à lui
pour ce superbe séjour.
Splendid small nest perched
on the heights of Colares. Calm in the middle of a large
eucalytus forest, ideal to rest. Swimming pool and
horses for the children, Sintra and his culture in the
vicinity, in short words: an ideal stay. The owner as a
great kindness, hospitality, and availability. Still

Séjour
charmant et effectivement très reposant dans un lieu magique au milieu
d''une forêt. Mon fils a adoré nourrir les chevaux ! Superbes plages à
10 minutes en voiture, lieux à visiter... Séjour parfait ! Accueil très
chaleureux par un propriétaire sympathique et disponible.
Charming stay and indeed very resting in a magic place in the forest
heart. My son adored to nourish the horses! Superb beaches in 10
minutes by car, places to visit… Perfect stay! Very warm reception by a

stayed for seven glorious days at this peaceful hideaway in a lovely
forest setting. It was a joy to sit on the terrace overlooking such
beautiful views. The Sintra area is full of wonderful cultural places
to visit and the magnificent beaches are only a 5 minute drive away.
The owner was extremely courteous and helpful with his advice and tips
on where to visit.

is a lovely house in perfect surroundings, very well equipped, great
pool, plenty of space inside and outside. Perfect size for 4 people, or
even 6. Very peaceful location with no other house within sight.
Beautiful forest setting with eagles/falcons flying overhead. Is just
fantastic - it is quiet, all on its own, right up in the woodlands.
Owls hoot in the evening and the mist comes in at night to cool the
evenings. All this just 5 minutes to the village, shops, cafes fabulous
and restaurants and 10 minutes to three great beaches, all with good
facilities. All the Sintra palaces and mountain scenery are within easy
reach and easy access to Lisbon. Our two children (aged 8 and 11) had a
wonderful time in the pool and feeding the horses and donkey. The owner
himself met us at the airport and could not have been more helpful in
every way and friendly - nothing is too much trouble. This is a magical
house in a beautiful area and if you want to enjoy peace and nature
whilst being very close to lots of interesting places then this is the
place to go. A great place for children, safe and lots of space. We
were there for two weeks and could not fault it in any way. Thank you
for a wonderful time.

Wir haben
eine wunderschöne dieses Woche auf seiner sintra
cottage verbracht. Das Haus ist ganz liebevoll
eingerichtet und der Inhaber hat sich wirklich um unser Wohl
bemüht. (Höhepunkt für unsere Tochter war der
Ausritt mit ihm). Das Haus bietet eine wohltuende Ruhe,
obwohl Lissabon mit dem Zug (zu empfehlen) problemlos
schnell zu erreichen ist. Insgesamt Note 1.
We spent a beautiful week on this cottage. The house is completely affectionately
furnished and the owner really strove for our well-being.
High point for our daughter's horse ride with him. The
house offers one do good-ends peace, although Lisbon
can be easily and quickly attained. Altogether note 1.

surrounded by the eucalyptus forest for who loves some
quiet holidays. Good geographic position for visiting

Das Häuschen
liegt absolut ruhig in wunderschöner Natur inmitten
des Naturparks. Ideal zum Abschalten und Entspannen.
Strände sind in 5 Autominuten entfernt, und durch die
Höhenlage (380m) ist es auch an heissen Tagen immer
angenehm kühl, speziell am Abend. Die Ausstattung ist
komplett, inkl. Wasch- und Trockenmaschine als auch
grosse Tiefkühltruhe und Spülmaschine. der Eigentümer
und seine Familie sind sehr zuverlässig, zuvorkommend
und hilfsbereit. Unsere Töchter haben die mehrfachen
langen Ausritte mit den beiden Pferden sehr genossen, der Inhaber
hat sich hierfür privat sehr viel Zeit genommen,
ohne dafür extra bezahlt zu werden. Ein rundum
empfehlenswertes Angebot, wenn man Idylle, Natur und
Ruhe in den Vordergrund stellt.

Such
a wonderful cottage! The natural mystery, quietness and beauty of
Sintra mountain at this amazing place. At the same time close to very
nice beaches, to Lisbon and to all the monuments to visit around. Kids
loved the animals and every morning they were excited to feed
them. They enjoyed a lot the swimming pool and the swings park
too. The house is charming and very well equipped.
